New BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 now is available

When we took a look at the BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 OS back at CES, we called it "the most polished version of the PlayBook OS yet." Whether that's enough to turn sales around for the tablet is quite another matter, but it does show that RIM is able to push out new versions of the OS that is going to eventually form the basis of BlackBerry 10.
The biggest improvement? The made-in-Ottawa PlayBook 2.0 operating system (OS), finally features one-click access to all of a user's email accounts. In the previous version of the software that arrived with the debut of the PlayBook in April 2011, users could access email only over the tablet's built-in web browser, a task many critics labelled as the device's ultimate Achilles heel.....................
