Looks like Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich season is finally hitting
fever pitch as we are starting to see devices being launched with
Google’s latest OS out of the box, though this is happening a good six
months after the OS was launched. Yesterday we saw an Android 4.0
offering from HCL and today we have the Funbook from Micromax which runs
Android 4.0 out of the box and costs Rs 6,499.
Donning a 7-inch capacitive display the Micromax Funbook packs in a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor with a Mali GPU. Besides this, the device comes with 4GB of onboard memory and 512MB of RAM and also packs in 2800 mAh battery which is a sliver shorter than that of the HCL ME U1’s 3600 mAh battery. Apart from this, the device sports 3G dongle support via a USB and features 0.3 megapixel front facing camera....................
