Perhaps nobody would have ever thought that amid the horde of networking sites like Orkut, Facebook and many more, LinkedIn would be able to gain such a huge popularity in the professional community. Started in 2003, LinkedIn has managed to gain wise words from the elite class of professionals from North America and other leading regions, including India.
Backed with over 100 million members, LinkedIn made its way in India in 2009, and till now it has been able to pull almost 10 million users from 3.4 million in December 2009, enforcing the aim with which LinkedIn was launched.
