DYSLEXIA PROBLEM IN CHILDREN & ADULTS

Dyslexia is impaired reading ability with a competence level below that expected on the basis of the person's level of intelligence, and in the presence of normal vision, letter recognition, and recognition of the meaning of pictures and objects.
As with other learning disabilities, dyslexia is a lifelong challenge that people are born with. This language processing disorder can hinder reading, writing, spelling, and sometimes even speaking.  Dyslexia is not a sign of poor intelligence or laziness. Firmware update for MacBook Air adds Power Nap, fixes

Even though Power Nap was one of the features Apple talked about post-release of their next-gen OS Mountain Lion, which was released two days ago now, it was missing from the release itself.
PowerNap allows the system to save energy by maintaining Sleep mode but still allow the system network access for updates and synchronization, as well as allowing backups to happen in the background. This feature is only available on the 2011-2012 MacBook Air systems and in the MacBook Pro with Retina Display; however, these systems did require a firmware update to use the new feature.............

Wi-Fi BacPac™ + Wi-Fi Remote Combo Kit

The GoPro HD Hero2 is already one of our favorite sports and action camera systems here at Car Tech. It's rugged and waterproof; it's easy to use; and the video it captures looks terrific. However, having to stop and get out of the car to start and stop recordings or draining the camera's battery filming dull stretches of road or traffic can be downright annoying. Wouldn't it be great if there were some way to remotely control the GoPro camera system the way you can with the Contour+ or the Ion Air Pro WiFi?.............

Largest ever Cherenkov telescope sees first light on 26th July

A new eye on the high-energy cosmos opened on Thursday 26 July. With a total area of 614 sq m, the Hess facility is the largest "Cherenkov telescope" ever made. It catches the light made when high-energy gamma rays hit the atmosphere, creating cascades of particles which briefly exceed the speed of light in air, giving hints about the rays' sources: supermassive black holes, pulsars and supernovae. Here, the gamma-ray sky over Namibia is superimposed on an image of one of Hess' dishes.
“The new telescope not only provides the largest mirror area among instruments of this type worldwide, but also resolves the cascade images at..................

Sony's upcoming smartphone Xperia Mint leaked

Sony may have released the Xperia S a few short months ago, but it looks like the company is set to unveil another high-end Android smartphone sooner rather than later. Bulgarian website Nixanbal has details of the Sony LT30p “Mint”, which is said to feature a 13-megapixel camera. The site has posted some photo samples from the camera, and detailed some of the other specs as well.
While we've been fussing over the Xperia GX (aka the LT29i), it seems Sony's been working on something one integer higher. Mobile-review has published a run-down of a device it claims is called the LT30p -- aka the Mint we first heard of back in January -- which also appears to possess many of the specs we'd want from a high-end phone. The front side hosts a 1280 x 720 4.3-inch LCD, while the rear boasts the same................

Nokia smartphones, Researcher uses NFC to attack Android

Security specialist Charlie Miller demonstrated at the Black Hat security conference today a way to hijack an Android smartphone via the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology that's turned on by default on the device, and said he's found problems with NFC implementations on Nokia as well.
NFC tags have built-in antennas and are found in stickers and smart cards that are designed to transfer data to NFC readers, to send specific phone numbers and Web addresses to smartphones and other benign purposes. They require close proximity, a few centimeters or so, for data to be transmitted.................

Sound-ID-Six-review-Black-Silver

Sometimes, you just need to go hands-free. And with the infinite list of Bluetooth headsets out there, choosing the right device may get tricky. Sound ID's Six is a $99.99 headset with three microphones. In addition to offering voice dialing and three ear loop sizes, it also comes with an app called EarPrint. And while I did enjoy the number of customizable options included in the app, I was unimpressed with the headset's call quality.

The Sound ID Six has a sleek and modern design. Its subtle black-and-gray checkered pattern was more noticeable in the light, and its..............

Many of the phones and features once reserved for nationwide major carriers have begun to trickle down to prepaid cellular providers. A case in point is the HTC Evo Design 4G for Boost Mobile. This pricey $299.99 smartphone appears to be a modern handset at first glance, running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and offering 4G data. A closer look reveals the device's flaws living below the surface. A slow single-core processor, short battery life, and fuzzy call quality make it a tough sell even considering that its high price doesn't include an onerous service contract................

The Department of Homeland Security on Friday warned that a popular system used by organizations around the world to manage millions of machines and devices over the Internet is vulnerable to attack from hackers.

Motorola Atrix HD Coming to AT&T July 15

Motorola today announced that AT&T will start selling its Atrix HD smartphone on July 15.
Smartphone sequels seem to run out of some steam after each refresh. The new $99.99 Motorola Atrix HD doesn't quite follow the same script. It would be more apt to say this latest Atrix is less ambitious than its two previous incarnations, the Atrix 4G and Atrix 2. Gone are Motorola's plans to make a phone that also morphs into a laptop or even run its Webtop software. That doesn't mean the Atrix HD lacks power, speed, and poise. Indeed, while it's not without faults, the Motorola Atrix HD offers all three in an attractive package and at a price that's not stratospheric.............

Gmail service: Google products go from creepy to cool

In the psychological evolution of Google products for people who rely on them every day, convenience regularly trumps privacy concerns. Are you cool with that? Google announced its new and capacious Gmail service and said it would serve up contextual ads, a move so radical that people initially thought it was an April Fool's joke. It wasn't.
At the time, more than 30 civil liberties groups urged Google to suspend Gmail, arguing that targeting people with ads in their e-mail was setting a dangerous precedent and letting the "proverbial genie out of the bottle" for privacy abuse. California Sen. Liz Figueroa drafted a bill aimed at restricting this use of Gmail (later dropped), privacy groups asked the California Attorney General to investigate whether Google was violating............
