As we reported earlier, Micromax’s A240 Canvas Doodle 2 smartphone is now available online.
Design and Looks: Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 comes with features of the Micromax Canvas 4 and the Micromax Canvas Doodle A111. The phone sports a bigger 5.7 inches screen with HD IPS display having a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a pixel density of ~258 ppi. The phone comes with multitouch support and also comes with Stylus support for better use of the phone. The device will be available in Black and White colors.

Young Indian journalist gang raped in Mumbai

The case has brought back bad memories of the December gang rape and death of a young university student in the Indian capital that shocked the country.
The recent gang-rape of a 22-year-old photojournalist in Mumbai has elicited strong reactions from the political class in the Rajya Sabha on Friday.
Some even sniped at the union and state ministry of home affairs for failure of altering the law and order condition in the country since the Delhi gang-rape incident which took place last December.

Google Maps and Waze start swapping data

Google on Tuesday said it began integrating into its online maps features from the Waze traffic app it acquired earlier this year in a deal said to be worth some $1 billion.
"No one likes getting stuck in traffic. That's why the Waze and Google Maps teams are working together to harness the power of Google technology and the passion of the Waze community to make it easier to navigate your daily life," said the tech giant's Brian McClendon in a blog post.

Helpouts is a new way to connect people who need help with people who can give help, over live video, anytime, anywhere. More specifically, the Internet giant is looking for people who are experts on basically anything to lead some of the first sessions for its soon-to-launch Helpouts video calling program.
While Helpouts has yet to launch, a good deal of information can be gained from the support site. Anyone can sign up to provide help; just enter in your skills, availability, qualifications, and pricing, and Google will match you with people in need of your assistance. You can even include an introductory video of the services you'll be providing. Once you're all set up, customers can schedule a video chat session during your available hours.
