Dell’s XPS Duo 12 Might Have the Best “Laptop” of Any Laptop/Tablet Combination

Dell’s XPS Duo 12 has some lineage, but it’s not really the sort of ancestry you’d want to talk about too loudly. The original Inspiron Duo was a case of good in theory, poor in practice: a notebook with a rotating touchscreen that could turn it into a slate, let down by an underperforming CPU, clunky build and Windows 7′s lack of finger-friendliness. Now, with the XPS Duo 12, Dell has brought some of its ultrabook knowledge to the concept, and from what we’ve seen today it’s with good result.
Today at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) conference, Dell unveiled three powerful additions to its industry-leading XPS brand...........

Sony Xperia Ion available for Rs 35999

Six months ago back at CES, Sony managed to surprise us with the introduction of its flagship Android smartphone in the Sony Xperia ion. During the time, we were undoubtedly captivated by its stellar specs sheet that consisted of a large 4.6” HD display, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-core processor, and a higher than normal 12-megapixel snapper. Looking back at it all, it surely sounded tasty in so many ways, but as time passed with no word regarding its inevitable arrival, our interest in it quickly faded into oblivion – even more when other prestigious smartphones began making their marks.
Fortunately for all of us, the Sony Xperia ion didn’t end up becoming vaporware, as the handset was officially tagged with a June 24th release................

Want some multi-functionality in your windows explorer?

Tabs have been an integral part of web browsers for a long time. Before that, users had to open a new browser window when they wanted to open multiple sites at once on their system. When you look at Windows Explorer, Widnows’ default file management tool, you come to wonder why Microsoft never bothered to improve the file manager with features that third party applications like Total Commander, QTabBar or Q-Dir offer. Probably the two biggest features missing are an interface supporting tabs and an option to display multiple folder contents next to each other in one window.
Tab Explorer is a free program for Windows that adds tabs to Windows Explorer. It does so in an unobtrusive way by merging all open Explorer...............

How to Get Google Adsense Approval Fast , How to Avoid Rejection?

A lot of publishers from India and other Asian countries are puzzled on whether they can use AdSense Ads on new sites or not. Recently Google disabled a massive number of AdSense accounts from India and Pakistan which adds more to the confusion. To make it worse, Google does not mention anything in their policies for India about the minimum age requirement for blogs and websites to use AdSense Ads on the websites.
If you are new to AdSense and want to apply for AdSense for your new website, I strongly suggest few things:
1. Wait several months until you have a lot of high quality articles. 6 months to 1 year is not a long wait for a life time AdSense account..............

Largest ever Cherenkov telescope sees first light on 26th July

A new eye on the high-energy cosmos opened on Thursday 26 July. With a total area of 614 sq m, the Hess facility is the largest "Cherenkov telescope" ever made. It catches the light made when high-energy gamma rays hit the atmosphere, creating cascades of particles which briefly exceed the speed of light in air, giving hints about the rays' sources: supermassive black holes, pulsars and supernovae. Here, the gamma-ray sky over Namibia is superimposed on an image of one of Hess' dishes.

Sony's upcoming smartphone Xperia Mint leaked

Sony may have released the Xperia S a few short months ago, but it looks like the company is set to unveil another high-end Android smartphone sooner rather than later. Bulgarian website Nixanbal has details of the Sony LT30p “Mint”, which is said to feature a 13-megapixel camera. The site has posted some photo samples from the camera, and detailed some of the other specs as well.
While we've been fussing over the Xperia GX (aka the LT29i), it seems Sony's been working on something one integer higher. Mobile-review has published a run-down of a device it claims is called the LT30p -- aka the Mint we first heard of back in January -- which also appears to possess many of the specs we'd want from a high-end phone. The front side hosts a 1280 x 720 4.3-inch LCD, while the rear boasts the same................

Motorola Atrix HD Coming to AT&T July 15

Motorola today announced that AT&T will start selling its Atrix HD smartphone on July 15.
Smartphone sequels seem to run out of some steam after each refresh. The new $99.99 Motorola Atrix HD doesn't quite follow the same script. Gone are Motorola's plans to make a phone that also morphs into a laptop or even run its Webtop software. That doesn't mean the Atrix HD lacks power, speed, and poise. Gmail service: Google products go from creepy to cool

In the psychological evolution of Google products for people who rely on them every day, convenience regularly trumps privacy concerns. Are you cool with that? Google announced its new and capacious Gmail service and said it would serve up contextual ads, a move so radical that people initially thought it was an April Fool's joke. It wasn't.
At the time, more than 30 civil liberties groups urged Google to suspend Gmail, arguing that targeting people with ads in their e-mail was setting a dangerous precedent and letting the "proverbial genie out of the bottle" for privacy abuse. California Sen. Liz Figueroa drafted a bill aimed at restricting this use of Gmail (later dropped), privacy groups asked the California Attorney General to investigate whether Google was violating............

'Leap second' 1 July to keep in step with slowing globe

The ever-so-slight slowing of Earth's rotation means a leap second must be added to our clocks every few years to keep atomic clocks in sync with Earth, shown here in an image taken by the Apollo 8 astronauts in December 1968.
Leap second was added to the International Atomic Time clocks to help the Earth catch up from slowing down. Earth has started to slightly slow down at a non-uniform rate, possibly from the molten core, the rolling of the oceans, the melting of polar ice and the effects of solar and lunar gravity.
the world's official timekeepers will add a leap second for the first time in 3½ years..................

Nexus Q specs, price, and availability

One of Google's surprises yesterday was the Nexus Q media streamer, a product that sees the company expanding into the living room with its own branded hardware. The Nexus Q differs from competing devices in that it only serves as a conduit. It has no UI of its own; you control the Q with your Android smartphone or tablet, and the sphere then streams audio and video content down from the Google Play Store (it can also be used to route YouTube content to your television). We spent some time with the device today, and while there are some nice stylistic touches, we did find the device to be somewhat lacking in its feature set and ease of use.
