StatCounter data: Google Chrome is now the world's top web browser

StatCounter have released the latest figures indicating the top 5 browsers as on July 2012. Chrome is leading the market share for browsers. With 33.81 percent of the market with it, Chrome is definitely at the top of the order, closely followed by Internet Explorer that has for itself 32.04 percent. Firefox comes in third at 23.73 percent, while Safari logged in 7.12 percent. Opera managed a share of 1.72 percent in the sheet.
StatCounter is a web traffic analysis tool. It records all kinds of information about browsers and other parameters by monitoring data traffic trends. Figures released by StatCounter pertaining to the market share of browsers in June 2012, saw Chrome overtake Internet Explorer by becoming the world’s most used web browser. The market share lines crossed ways in May.
