Apple set to launch new MacBook Air


Apple Inc is likely to introduce a new range of MacBook Air laptops based on Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge microprocessors.

Industry analysts and Apple watchers are certain the launch would take place in the coming weeks with Apple airbrushing the popular laptop with a new heart.

The new MacBook Airs will most likely have 32-nanometer Sandy Bridge ultra-low-voltage Core i5 and Core i7 chips. These chips contain between 3 and 4 MB of Smart Cache and can support a theoretical 8GB of RAM.
