Samsung smart mobiles unpacked

Samsung Electronics introduces a series of products and technologies from Samsung's television, digital camera, smart mobile device, IT solution and home appliance businesses at the inaugural Southwest Asia Regional Forum. In 2010, Samsung achieved 60 per cent growth rate in Southwest Asia operations ($3.5 billion U.S.), contributing to the company's US$135.8 billion in global revenues - the most successful in Samsung's history.

JS Shin, president of Samsung Electronics Southwest Asia said, “This is a region of tremendous growth and potential for Samsung Electronics.” He added, “We have the potential to reach No. 1 market share in numerous categories while strengthening our partner and channel relationships, particularly in a country like India where markets are maturing and the potential for growth is unlimited.”

Amongst Samsung's smart mobile devices, it has launched Galaxy S II, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Pop and Galaxy Pro.

S II - A lightning-fast, dual-core Samsung Galaxy S II powered by Android Gingerbread has been equipped with Samsung's new crystal-clear Super AMOLED Plus screen introduces the best in quality in color gamut, contrast ratio and edge sharpness.

Samsung expands the Samsung Galaxy Tab range with a 10.1 entertainment powerhouse. A dual-core smart media device powered by Android Honeycomb, the GALAXY Tab 10.1 is lightweight and thin design on a 10.1-inch large display.

It is 8.6mm thin and weighs 470g.

It comes with a 3.5 inch display on a compact handset. Its has 800MHz processor, voice search and ThinkFree document.

It is of 3.31” display.

It has 3.14 inch QVGA display. Powered by a 600 MHz processor, it offers Google voice actions and Quick Office document viewer.

Designed as a smart phone with an edge, it comes with Samsung's social hub premium and a dual-input control based on a touch-screen and QWERTY keyboard.
