Study: Presence of best friend can help you beat stress


Spending time with your closest buddy during difficult times can be quite helpful, as a study conducted on children has found being in such company can reduce stress levels, Daily Mail reported.

If you’re ever feeling under pressure, it might be an idea to see your best friend.

Being in their presence can reduce stress levels – at least according to a study of children.

‘One of the interesting things about these findings is that it’s not just any friend – it’s the best friend,’ said Ryan Adams, the study’s lead author and an assistant professor of paediatrics at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Centre.
