Korean announced: Multi-platform phone strategy for Samsung


Korean major Samsung announced that it will carry on with its multi-platform strategy for its range of Smartphones. The company has launched phones across Android, Windows phone and its own Bada operating system. As of now, the electronics giant has a 24% market share in the Indian mobile phone market and has plans to launch at least 3-4 new phones every month. “India is a fast growing mobile market and we will continue to strengthen our portfolio across price points” said Ranjit Yadav, country head for Samsung’s Mobile and IT business.

Samsung has launched three new phones- Wave 3, Omnia W and Galaxy Y- in India.

Powered by Samsung’s own new bada 2.0 platform, the Wave 3 comes with a 4”..........
