Nokia will launch Windows phone before March 2012


Finnish handset maker Nokia will commercially launch its Windows phone in India before March 2012 as part of its global launch of handsets based on the new Windows operating system, Nokia India managing director D Shivakumar said, “Work for the Windows phone is on track and it would be launched in the first quarter of next (calendar) year.”

Nokia is also in the process of finalising its new India head after the company reshaped its global operations.
